GAA STARS BACK ELVERYS #BRINGTHECOLOUR CAMPAIGN

Elverys Intersport have teamed up with some of the GAA’s brightest young talents to launch a major new campaign highlighting our most extensive ever range of boots. The #BringtheColour campaign is ready to go now in Elverys stores nationwide and on-line @ www.elverys.ie

Backing the campaign are Paul Mannion (Dublin), Seamus Callanan (Tipperary), Orla Finn (Cork), Shane Walsh (Galway), and Evan Regan (Mayo), all of whom are set to make a major impact on this year’s All Ireland Championships. The #BringtheColour Campaign encourages GAA players at all levels to show their flair not alone on the pitch but also through their choice of footwear.

This year Elverys have our broadest and brightest ever range of footwear with boots from the biggest names in the game across the colour palette, from lime green to deep purple. And yes there are the traditional black boots too!

Speaking of the promotion Elverys Marketing Manager, Anne-Marie Hanly said,

“The campaign capitalises on the rising demand in both colour and technological performance in today’s footwear from both hurlers and Gaelic footballers. Undaunted the trend for coloured footwear has accelerated in recent years and every tournament sees new colour pallets and emerging technologies such as the lace-less boot, being introduced. Whilst the trend may have started with white soccer boots it is now very much a feature of the GAA and in particular the Senior All Ireland Championships”

#BringTheColour was inspired by Elverys established relationship with Gaelic games. We are long term sponsors of Mayo GAA, also sponsor Tipperary GAA and are retail partners to Galway, Waterford, Kildare, Limerick, supplying inter-county players from all counties with boots and training footwear for the All-Ireland Championships. Elverys are also a partner of the Women’s GPA. Speaking at the launch, Tipperary hurler and #BringtheColour ambassador Seamus Callanan said:

“Creating a winning culture on any team is about the individuals who make up that team bringing the very best of themselves be it at training or on match days. #BringtheColour encourages players to show their flair so as to contribute to the team effort. I am delighted to partner with Elverys to showcase the campaign. They are a huge supporter of Tipperary and of GAA generally and as a specialist sports shop their range of boots offers players a choice of footwear that matches technical performance with style and colour which, is what #Bring the Colour is all about.”
