NIKE METAL FLASH PACK.
The first Nike 2016 Football Boot Collection, the Metal Flash Pack has arrived.
The new colourways – from bright mango to hyper grape and wicked glow green – make this a bold new boot for players in 2016. There is a sense of continuity from the winter 2015 Liquid Chrome Pack with the metallic silver swoosh still present, but much more colourful collection for Nike which reflects the winter days becoming spring. And boy does it feel good when the evenings stretch and you get back on the pitch – that is what the Metal Flash Pack is all about – the feeling of whipping on a new pair of boots and playing with a spring in your step.
Nike Hypervenom – Green Glow/Metallic Silver
An Elverys Intersport Exclusive, the green glow Hypervenom features the same design as the winter bronze metal Hypervenom with a new colour scheme. The Phantom includes the in-fashion Flyknit Dymanic Fit collar with a NikeSkin upper and Flywire strings to encourage agility and lockdown feel for a players foot. The All Conditions Control (ACC) technology provides a consistent grip on the ball for both wet and dry conditions. A moulded sock liner cushions the foot to help reduce pressure from studs. The Hypervenom Phantom will be worn by Nike’s own Wayne Rooney and Robert Lewandowski.
The Phatal also features the Dynamic Fit Collar, Flywire strings and moulded sock liner.
Nike Magista – Hyper Grape/Metallic Silver
The Magista Obra technology wise hasn’t really changed, but a turquoise ‘honeycomb’ upper on the boot compliments the hyper grape Magista nicely. Features include a Flyknit Dynamic Fit Collar, ACC and Pebax Nylon plate for 360 degree rotational traction. The Nike Magista will be worn by Anders Iniesta, Mario Gotze, Michael Carrick, and Christian Eriksen.
The collarless Opus features a Kanga-Lite Upper and Natural Motion Plate for 360 degree rotational traction – it’s a useful invention let us tell you!

Nike Mercurial – Bright Mango/Metallic Silver
The Mercurial series returns to a bright mango colourway with a metallic silver Swoosh for company too. A turquoise tip on the studs adds a further touch of class on a boot that will feature on the outrageously talented Luka Modric and Alexis Sanchez.
The Mercurial Superfly also features the Dynamic Fit Collar for locked down comfort, a Flyknit upper for barefoot feel and carbon fibre plate designed specifically for explosive speed.
While the collarless Mercurial Vapor has a micro-textured synthetic upper to encourage a finer touch, a tongueless upper for locked-down fit and Nylon Chassis plate with direct-inject blades for explosive speed and responsive grip.
Nike Tiempo – Light Crimson/Total Crimson/Metallic Silver
Nike have gone big for their first coloured edition of the boot, after the Pure Platinum and Black/White editions, with a light crimson colorway joining the Tiempo family. Nike Athletes such as Gerard Pique, Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane will wear the boot in La Liga.
The Tiempo Legend features a vacuumed quilted leather for a superior touch and feel, while encouraging a better fit for players using an internal microfibre cage to lock the upper to the foot. It also features a TPU plate with conical studs for rotational traction.
These boots are so good, we’re finding it hard to choose which one to wear for the months ahead… Can we have them all??
